Whether selling clothing, or picking up new/used or vintage finds, Buffalo Exchange has been one of our go-to shops for a while now. With locations in various locations across the country, it’s hard not to pop in time and time again. Halloween costumes, no matter your age, always seem to find their place -- from office work parties to entertaining at home, you’re bound to have a frightful gathering to prep for this season. Though we love getting all dolled up for the occasion, we can’t bare to overspend on items we can’t utilize often, which why thrifting is one of our favorite alternatives to store bought costumes. To help us create some effortless looks for Halloween this year, we checked in with Buffalo Exchange to see what they had on hand -- here’s what we came up with...

By Buffalo Exchange, N. La Brea Ave., Los Angeles Halloween is undoubtably one of our favorite holidays! But, costumes can break the bank, especially when you commit to a detailed costume. Fortunately, at Buffalo Exchange, putting together a creative costume on a budget is as easy as 1, 2, 3! First, decide who or what you want to be. You can even go in with a vague idea and let the inspiration come to you. Second, go through your closet to see what you already have and assess how you can mix and match pieces for a costume before deciding on what you need to purchase in order to complete the costume (if needed). Third, have fun! Creating a costume should be entertaining, so try not to make it a serious task. And, remember, don’t get too fixated on an idea or costume just because of what you’ve seen done before, it’s always great to add a little flare of your own.
