s the monsoons made their way out, it started raining phones, tablets and a host of mobile devices. Or certainly it felt that way to us as almost every day brought forth new and more innovative devices. Be it Nokia, Samsung or Amazon - it seemed every manufacturer in town was out to wow us with new offerings. We managed to extract ourselves from the deluge long enough to cherry pick ten of the best mobile products that were unveiled. They might not have hit the market yet, but we can assure you that you will be hearing a lot about them in times to come.

Fabulous Phablet
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 The Galaxy Note has been one of Samsung’s bestselling devices over the past year. It did a marvellous job of integrating a large-screen phone with a stylus. We were a little skeptical about its prospects when it was initially launched but with a slight cut in price, its sales zoomed. Small wonder then that Samsung has given us its successor, the Galaxy Note 2. The Galaxy Note 2 will also come with a stylus, which will work in tandem with the larger 5.5 inch SUPER AMOLED capacitive touch screen. This large screen supports HD 720 resolution and would be able to play DivX, MP4 and WMV video formats. Under the hood, it will carry a quad core 1.6 GHz Cortex A9 processor and whopping 2 GB RAM. It will be available in three storage variations - 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB, although the last might not make it to our shores. The Note 2 will
have an 8.0-megapixel camera with autofocus, and an LED flash. And running on it will be the latest version of Android, Jelly Bean (4.1). A 3,100 mAh battery will keep it ticking. We have no official word on its price, but whispers say it will be in the vicinity of Rs 35,000.
