Introduction All bridges go over land or water. Some bridges are very high. Some bridges can open up. Many bridges are fantastic!

This bridge is fantastic. It is very high and very long. The top of the bridge is a long way from the land below. 7


Water bridge Most bridges are for cars or trains, but this bridge is for boats. It is filled with water and boats go across it and under it.

Rolling bridge This bridge rolls up. It rolls up to let boats go through.

It rolls down so people  can go over it.

Most bridges go over water. This bridge goes over water, but it has a tunnel in the middle. The tunnel goes under the water.

This bridge is fantastic because it is made from vines. It is very old and is still growing! Most bridges are made from steel and concrete.
