One day, Jack found an old map. There was a city on the map. It was hidden deep in the forest. “I must find this city,” said Jack.

Jack looked at the map. “I must find a bridge that goes over a river,” said Jack. He went to the river and looked for a bridge. But there was no bridge! Then he saw a red button.

Jack put his hand on the red button and a bridge rolled down.
He went over the bridge, and walked deep into the forest.

Jack looked at the map again. He had to find another bridge. He looked up and saw a bridge, but it was a long way up.
Jack walked up and up and up to the bridge. Then he walked over the bridge. 8

Jack walked deeper and deeper into the forest. He looked at his map again. “I have to find the last bridge!” he said.
He saw a tree with vines. The vines went into a cave on the side of a hill. 10

Jack went up the tree. He saw the last bridge – it was a living bridge made of vines! 12
He went over the bridge and into the cave. 13
Jack kept walking. Then he saw some light. He kept going . . .
