Providence is a thriving cultural center less than 20 miles from the Bristol campus and easily accessible by bus (or bike path!). RWU’s University College downtown campus offers online, part-time, graduate, and certificate programs. Students love visiting Providence for fun, entertainment and also to take advantage of internships and research projects.

Whether it’s study abroad, internships, student teaching, student/faculty research, or short-term immersion trips, you will have multiple opportunities to try new things and apply your learning in different settings. It’s the act of doing that makes your education extremely personal and relevant. We prepare you to be a lifelong learner, an engaged professional, and a global citizen by ensuring you tackle projects for local organizations and communities, complete internships (locally and abroad), or conduct research with faculty.
