P.L.O.W. through the S.N.O.W.

I’ve been struggling with accomplishing my goals for my personal, business, career, health, and spiritual life. It seemed like there were roadblocks and struggles in every direction. Then one day, I heard in the distance a large street plow coming. It’s doing its job to PLOW through the SNOW, ice, and sleet to clear the roads to make them easier to maneuver. I felt in my soul God saying to me P.L.O.W. through the S.N.O.W. I questioned what that meant. Then it came like a bolt. It’s P: pray and praise; L: listen; O: obey; W: walk and work; through the S: situations; N: negativity; O: obstacles and objections; and W: weaknesses and warfare: with God’s help. For me to accomplish the plans and purposes God has implanted in me, I need to PLOW to remove the SNOW that was preventing me from action. Then God put in my heart to remember that God cannot be defeated. “If God is for us, who is against us?” (Romans 8:31), “but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26 NIV).

How do we implement PLOW to remove the SNOW?

First, we must PRAY to and PRAISE the Lord. Just talk about what’s concerning you and praise the Lord for all things, the good and the bad.

Second, we must LISTEN. Sometimes we need to be quiet and pay attention to what we hear.

Third, we must OBEY what we heard. Children don’t always want to listen to what their parents say, but those instructions are vital to our success.

Lastly, we must WALK and WORK out the plans, instructions, and details. Work the plan and the plan will work. Do not be afraid to walk, work or stumble. FEAR stops most movement. God does not say there will be no bad SITUATIONS, NEGATIVITY, OBSTACLES/ OBJECTIONS, OR WEAKNESSES/WARFARE. SITUATIONS, good and bad, are apart of life. When situations arise, we must draw on God’s strength as we cannot do this alone. God never promised easy. God does say He will provide us the strength, courage, peace and love to get us through SNOW. We must fight off and dismiss NEGATIVITY in comments, thoughts and reactions that will throw us off focus. Negativity comes from ourselves, others around us, and the world. OBSTACLES/OBJECTIONS need to be removed out the way. Think of the large snowplow that has to go around all the vehicles and trash cans but does not stop until the job is accomplished. We all have WEAKNESSES and WARFARE battles to overcome. God equips us with HIS armor and strength so we can defeat and remove what’s against us.

By using the power given to us by God, we can pray, praise, listen, obey, walk and work our way through to accomplish what the Lord has planned for us. Plans to prosper us and not to harm us, to remove and break through the situation that will arise, fight negativity, overcome obstacles and objections, remove our weaknesses and warfare to be victorious.
