The First Inaugural NWI Talent Show Announced

Residents of Northwest Indiana can find stellar entertainment like they have never seen before on Thursday, March 23rd at 6:30 pm – 9pm at the Mascot Hall of Fame in Whiting Indiana. Whether it’s Magicians, Comedians, Vocalist, Modern Dance, and even a Film Maker this evening is sure to entertain and leave you knowing that NWI Has Talent! There are 15 Acts Total; a Hollywood judge, and celebrity announcers and emcees. This will be an evening of LIVE music, uproarious Comedy, extraordinary Dance, enticing Vocals, and some outlandish surprises. Be prepared to vote for your home town cause it’s a “Battle of Municipalities” having a friendly competition amongst various towns and cities which adds a new component to the audience participation. Craft beer and a full liquor bar and food are available for purchase. Come vote for you talent which is half of the score.

See Magician KALITA, who is an Extricationist (an escape magician) who appeared on WGN again on March 2nd 2023. At the Talent Show, KALITA will be performing his famous $1,000 escape, whereby whomever ties him up will win $1,000 if he can’t escape! Surely an exciting skit to se, surely worth the price of admission alone!

Also Train Rex Comedy Group; Indiana Ballet Theatre; Elvis Impersonator, Region’s Got Talent Winner, and Marquette H.S. Talent Show winner, a talented children’s author turned in to Film maker and many more will be appearing, all of whom perform all over Northwest Indiana with their special talents. Mark Edward Wilows, a Hollywood Actor, Producer and author will be one of the judges. Promising to present a wide variety, there is also a Spoken Word & Visual Artist from Merrillville. And, don’t let the location fool you. Mascot Hall of fame turns itself in to a night club at night and a kid’s playground during the day. This promises to be an evening you will not soon forget. Patrons can enjoy the complimentary sweet bar. Vison Quest will also be giving IMPACT AWARDS that evening while the votes are being tallied. You don’t want to miss that either! Mascot Hall of Fame is located on Lake Michigan at 1851 Frontage Rd in Whiting, Indiana. Producer Becky Mateja, Vision Quest, and Sue Baxte, PanoramaNOW Entertainment News, are synergized with the help of Mayor Steve Spebar to present this event.
