MOUND CEMETERY
Established in 1801, Mound Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries of the original Northwest Territory. The cemetery holds founders and settlers of Marietta and veterans of almost every American war are also buried here.
THE CASTLE
The Castle was the home of some of Marietta’s most prominent and influential citizens and was the site of grand business, community, and family functions throughout its history. The Castle opened for tours in 1994, and today you can see this historical house museum, which has been fully furnished with Victorian décor and antique furniture.
