Browse the shop and search for the perfect authentic Pendleton garment. COTTONWOOD BEACH, CAPTAIN WILLIAM CLARK PARK
This scenic park and beach was utilized by Lewis and Clark on their expedition with the Corps of Discovery in 1806 as a campsite while they gathered food and supplies for their journey up the Columbia River. As you enter Captain William Clark Park, explore the panels that detail the significance of Cottonwood Beach to the duo’s historic adventure. The beach also features replicas of the canoes that the Corps of Discovery would have used to travel along the river. Today, the park is home to beautiful paths that can be used to explore the area.
