Introduction

In this nonfiction Ice age text it will tell you the tools they used and also how they dress and much more!

When Did it Happen? The Ice Age was a long time ago. It was about 1,000,000 years ago. During that time, it was global warming. It was very cold. It was also very snowy. Ice Age will never return because of global warming.

Brrr…. Its c‐c‐c‐c‐cold! It was very cold. Later it stopped because of global warming. They had a struggle [people and animals] to survive. We won’t have to struggle because of global warming.

Food, Food, Food!

The Ice Age was very cold. In the Ice Age there were no shops. They had to hunt by themselves.

People lived together like lion prides. They ate together. They ate bison, mammoth and saber-tooth cats. There was no money at all! Us normal people have a much better life because we go to supermarkets but they had grown-up men that hunt. But sometimes the hunters got killed. We don’t risk so much. ROAR! There were other animals other then bison, mammoth and saber-tooth cats. There were cave lions, cave bears, giant ground sloths, 1 humped camel and a giant turtle beaver. Mammoth tusks straitened out are as tall as a man today! Saber-tooth teeth called saber teeth because they are in the shape of sabers [swords and knives]

They weren’t Naked! Just because it was a million years ago doesn’t mean they didn’t have clothes! They wore mammoth fur for coats. They also had tools and weapons. They had a lot of tools like a forklike thing and knives. They used saber-teeth for cups for water. They also had something like a grill with a stick and a dead animal on the stick. We kind of have the same thing just that they wore fur like mammoth fur. Home Sweet, Home Us normal people have skyscrapers, but they were more wild. They lived in caves!

Ice Age people lived in caves and tents. We have found a cave where a girl and her father were walking, and the girl discovered a huge cave, with millions of paintings. They started out with mud and blood for paint. They painted in caves where they lived. It was a much more green after global warming. The girl discovery was a terrific discovery and it was for a lot of money.

I’m too Young to Die! The Ice Age people didn’t live forever because otherwise they would be here with us right now! Ice Age mammals died out because of the weather, it was just so freezing. They couldn’t take it even though it became warmer. The earth was too late to change the weather. Some people wish that the animals were with us now…but some of us don’t.
