SOMALI PARLIAMENT COMMITTEE FOREIGN AFFAIRS TOOK MEETING WITH DISABLED PEOPLE

The event On Thursday 16 May 2019 in Mogadishu the Parliament committee for foreign affairs, Planning and International cooperation took consultation meeting with member of the National Disability Council. The meeting took place in Dorbin Hotel evening breakfast where they have discussed the role of the disabled people for the committee responsibility The participants of the meeting were six mps three male and three females led the chairpersons Mr. Abdullkadir Osoble and the Secretary Mr. Mohamed Fanah. And from the PWDs Chairpersons of the NDC Ali Abdullahi Salad with eight members of the NDCs and the chairpersons of the Somalia Disability Cluster Abdullahi Hussein Osman Chairpersons of IEDP and Internal affairs Secretary for the NDC said we came here two issue the we have priority, the CRPWD to be passed the parliament and the participation of the National strategic planning for the development work. Mr. Abdullahi Hassan Hussein Chairperson Somali Disability Cluster and member of the NDC thanked the committees and said we came here only for three issue submission of the CRPWDs to the assembly, the participation of national development and implementation of the national disability census which is not available Mr. Ali Abdulahi Slad the chairperson of the NDC thanked to the MP member of the committee said we are very happy to meet with you and share our concerns to the work of the committee. We request to work the parliament to pass the CRPWD soon, the participation national development plans and the support of the PWDs for visas problems when necessary for medical and education matter which we have problems mostly.

Opening the speak Mr. Osoble the chairperson of the parliament committee foreign and planning thanked the request that came from PWDs to meet with members of the Committee and explained they have in hand CRPWDs which is an international convention that they want proceed the reading and consultation with members of the committee and will bring back the parliament assembly session to pass with in the next week. Normal the committee has right to work the laws for 45 days and we hope to submit as soon as possible we can. Mr. Mohamed Hassan Ibrahim Ganey the secretary of the committee speaking said we thanks your request and happy to work with for the issued you raised the submission of the CRPWDs, Participation of National Planning ministry work and development project and the preparation of the national disability statistics. Mss. Sadio member of the committee thanked the PWDs team and we are ready to work the support and protection of the PWDs and now we come to talk the CRPWDs that is an international issue that concern our committee. We with your for the international and foreign relating matter to the PWDs Closure Mr. Abdulkadir Osoble the chairperson of the committee thanked the PWDs for the invitation to meet with members of the committee, you are part of the people we are working and representing in the parliament. We will work with you any matter important the PWDs and DPOs foreign, Planning and international cooperation.
