The author of the winning logo will cede the rights of the use, reproduction and distribution of the logo to the COMENIUS PROJECT. The presentation of a design to the competition implies the complete acceptance of these conditions. CORDOBA’S MEETING AGREEMENTS
After Cordoba Meeting, held at IES El Tablero on November 12-15, 2013, the nine attendant partners achieved the following agreements: 1. $FFRXQWLQJ RUJDQL]DWLRQ DQG H[SHQVHV LQ WKH meetings. ‡ Project Coordinator proposes that every country pay thier expenses at the end of the meeting, with a bill for every partner. Everyone agrees. It will made in Cordoba and, if possible, in the next visits, according to the respective high schools accounting possibilities. ‡ (YHU\ PHHWLQJœV RUJDQL]DWRU FRXQWU\ ZLOO DIIRUG the following expenses during the meeting: breakfast at the school and a family meal (or dinner) for all the visitors partners. In addition, will look for some others savings during the meeting (free visits, transport, meals or visitors accommodation). ‡ (YHU\ RUJDQL]DWRU FRXQWU\ ZLOO EH UHVSRQVLEOH of writing the respective Meeting Report, and reviewing it with the Project Coordinator. 2. - Project schedule. Meetings. Other savings ‡ After some considerations, Italia meeting dates are delayed to next year (sept-october 2014) and Swedish meeting dates will come early to this school year. Reviewing all the opinions, next meetings will be: * Jurançon (France): February 2nd7th 2.014 (This dates are inadequate for Turkish colleagues, as it will be holidays for them although this week is the best considering all partners school calendars) * *UD] $XVWULD $SULO WK 0D\ QG * LidkÜping (Sweden): June 1st-5th 2.014 ‡ *ORXFHVWHU 8 . 7KH\ ZRQœW RUJDQL]H PHHWLQJ ‡ Next year: Italia, Turkey, Romania and Poland. 3. - eTwinning and Twinspace Sweden and Spain will develop Twinspace. They will study the posssibilities to connect it with other sites: blogs, wikis, websites and so on. It’s very important that all the partners get to be members in the Twinspace Project and that invite their respective pupils (Swedish and Spanish students are already included!)
4. - Sundial project. Teachers from Gloucester (UK) show a presentation to suggest that every partner school implements a sundial using or including in any sense their respective traditional works in every region. For example: Iron forge or ceramics in Cordoba, stone quarrying in Gloucester, coal PLQLQJ LQ =RQJXOGDN DQG =DEU]H VWHHOZRUNV LQ *UD] DQG 5RPDQ ZLQH DQG QDWXUDO JD] LQ Jurançon, stone building in Nova Siri, the forest and quarrying in LidkÜping... Teachers from Jurançon- LycÊe AndrÊ Campa, offered to all the other partners to make a pocket sundial for every partner in their workshops as a industrial work practice coming from their students. They will request some particular details to include in every sundial, that will be turned in to the partners during the meeting in France. During the meeting at Jurançon, every partner school will explain to the other partners which has been the decisions about the way and the materials to build their respective sundial at every institution. 5. - Earth radius measurement As there was no time enough during the meeting to work on Earth radius measurement after Eratosthenes experiment, Project coordinator proposed to some of the partners to explain the experiment to the other partners during Jurançon meeting and how to make accurate measurements with pupils to get a succesful result. The experiment will be made during the next spring. Dates will be decided during Jurançon meeting. 6. - Next things to do. Other responsibilities After this meeting in Cordoba, the following members accept the responsibilities indicated (as result of big group or little group conversations during the meeting): 3URI 0DUHN 0DWORN IURP =DEU]H 3RODQG ZLOO SURPRWH RWKHU VFLHQWL¿F H[SHULPHQWV GXULQJ WKH project, that will be placed as a miscellaneous of the project. Particularly, Polish physics teacher proposed to measure also the Earth’s acceleration using one of available methods, such as the pendulum. The results from different coutries will be collected and an average will be calculated. Moreover the teacher suggested to
observe the movement of the International Space Station and to write small reports to compare the results. It might also be a good idea for students to do small projects/presentations about the station- what we know about it, how it is to live in weightlessness, etc. - Prof Guner Yaskan (from Zonguldak, Turkey) will be the responsible of photograhs of all the meetings he attends, its selection and sharing with the other partners.
7. - Meeting Evaluation. Mrs Nadia Circu, from Roman-Romania, will take over the responsibility of creating evaluation sheets for the different meetings and participation ways (students, families, teachers...) At Cordoba PHHWLQJ VKH KDV SUHSDUHG D ÂżUVW JHQHUDO RQH to get the opinion from the meeting attendants. These evaluation sheets, or its resume, will be included in the Project Twinspace.
