Content: Every issue is rich in stories with the qualities that demonstrate our strength: optimism, informative, powerful and inspiring. The topics are widely varied and include all aspects of life: health, career, business & finance, technology, travel, family & relationships.
Strength: •
The articles have useful information. Because it teach us many aspect of life.

The size is small, so it’s easy to carry and does not take too much space.
•
The content is divided into some categories. So people would be easy to find the articles that they like.
•
Consistent style of typeface.
•
The paper inside the magazine is light. So it makes the magazine is not heavy.
Weakness: •
No variation of layout.
•
I think it’s a bit boring for women’s magazine. Women love something beautiful. I think the layout is too simple.
•
The article uses too much text so it looks full and people tend to get bored and lazy to read.
•
Some spreads don’t have enough images. It looks too much text.
•
Some photographs are not really good.
•
There are some widow texts.
•
Not interesting cover.

Too much advertisement

The different between one paragraph to another paragraph is not clearly seen
Opportunity: •
Because it uses consistent layout and typography, people will easily know that it is the Elle Décor magazine
Threat •
Too many advertisement makes the magazine is thicker and heavier.

Topic: Women’s lifestyle, especially fashion
Reader: •
91.2% of the readers are females
•
The highest percentage is between the age of 35-54 (which is 41.6%). The median age is 38

Married and have children (48.2%)
Mission: The celebrity at the center of InStyle's universe is the consumer. Every page inspires her, instructs her, and moves her to action. Strength: •
Explorative layout
•
Acceptable for women because it uses a proper typeface (which looks gemulai and not too thick)
•
Not using too much colour because adult generation don’t like something too full of colourful and confusing
•
Clear table of content
•
Clear image, good quality of image
•
The pages are divided based on the category, and it makes the magazine so organize and not confusing
Weakness: •
Too heavy to carry on
•
Sometimes when you open the last pages, the paper flips automatically, so it makes the reader distracted and disrupted
Opportunity: •
Because InStyle has a good photograph, it should be attracting people, because people see something visually and than get to know what’s the inside

Mission: To get kids excited about their world. They have so much fun reading our magazine or browsing our website they won’t even realise they’re learning!

Boys and girls aged 6-13 with a core age of 8-12

Conscious about the environment, different cultures and animals
•
91% of parents read the magazine with their children

49% of readers take NG Kids to school or use it for help with their homework
Strength: •
The articles are informative and give us the new knowledge

Many images, so it’s more easier to be conceived

Many kinds of layout with more random placement, because they want to make it less boring

Because some of the articles are about facts, so it would not be left behind the trend or era

Motto: Magazine for real: want to have some realistic life features and tips, fashion spread which the clothes are wearable, using informal language, and with the practical size of magazine.
Mission: Be the magazine that shows teens their true potential, to show teens that it is important to be smart, pick the right choice in life, and also knows how to present themselves through comfortable, wearable, and stylish fashion.
Strenght: •
Many options of article, not only fashion, but there are also some articles like inspiring story, short story, gossip, and many more

Practical magazine size
•
Playful layout (especially the fashion parts) so not boring

Some pages are too full of text and make it less interesting
•
The cerpen spread is absolutely not interesting. Too much text makes the reader would not read it, and the type size is too small.
•
Some texts are unreadable because the background and the text colour is not match
•
Most of the spreads are too full of texts and images, there are not enough white space.
•
Some of the type style are too thin (light) so it is unreadable
•
Confuse about the page because some of the pages don’t have page numbers so it’s hard to find the article
Opportunities: •
Actually the articles that Go Girl provides are interesting, for example the inspirational stories that teenager should know and learn from that story, but the spread is not interesting at all because it looks too much texts, too full, and the text cannot be read easily
Threat: •
Afraid that the mission of this magazine could not be completed because in my opinion, if we have the great messages but we deliver it in a wrong way, it’s just useless. Some of the layouts and typefaces are still need modification.
