Menjamah Ibu Pertiwi is an individual Final Project for my master studies in University of Southampton. The collection consists of 5 printed fabrics inspired by local Batik mixed with local values. Indonesia is not only famous with the natural beauty, exotic wildlife, indigenous cultures and extraordinary cuisine. The collection brings out the soul of Indonesia. It is portraying the casual lifestyle of Indonesian. It is a collaboration between traditional and contemporary print and motives. The collection reflects how we dressed and socialise with a touch of memories and depicts of dynamic places.

Inspired by a massive fire at the Komodo National Park which has been a viral issues whether it was caused by man who tossed a cigarette, fireworks pre-wedding photoshoot or extreme heat.
In Chains print is an interpretation from “Topeng Monyet” or the monkey clowns and terrible zoo that keep the animals unhappy.
Flaws are beautiful except when it’s manmade. Menjamah Ibu Pertiwi is a self initiated project in semester 2 of master studies. The collection talks about environmental, cultural issues and also to truly celebrates the beauty of Indonesia. It is about people, who choose apathy over social consciousness. It is also reflects real life stories from all over the country which focused on the irony. Each of the design has its own stories or statement about certain issues. The purpose is to make social consciousness through visual in fabrics.
Lusi Mud print is a reflection from the Sidoarjo mudflow also known as “Lusi�. This is one of the longest on going disaster in Indonesia. It has been spewing hot mud and gases since May 26, 2006 in the Sidoarjo district, East Java. The mud has drowned 15 villages, paddy fields, dozens of factories, schools, countless houses and a long segment of a highway road.
Drowning Hippo print was inspired by true event in Safari Park, Bogor, Indonesia. Some irresponsible visitors illegally fed a hippopotamus cheap red wine in the Safari tour and recorded it in Instagram story. The video became viral.

Museum MKPWI is a museum oriented for women’s heroic movements in Indonesia. The museum consists of artefacts and dioramas showing women’s contributions in organisations and even in the war. The redesigned logo depicts a silhouette of a woman with Indonesian’s traditional hairdo. The logo represents power, intelligence, motherhood, and also strength. The museum is located in Special Region of Yogyakarta, Jl. Laksda Adisucipto No.88

Fragmented is an exhibitional event within University of Southampton. It is arranged and designed by master students every year. The 2019 theme was Fragmented, which highlited a piece of Kimono made by students using Japanese Boro technique. The poster design reflects the concept of the exhibition and the art pieces. (above) It is another alternative poster for the event. But (left) poster is the final output for public use.

(above) The typhography I made for the Ultra Milk’s New Flavour key visual. It is a collaboration between fun typeface and liquid-like sensation that represents Ultra Milk’s caramel and taro flavours. (right side) These are e-money designs for Ultra Milk giveaways to loyal customers. Each of designs are made to be fun and eye-catchy.
