Beley crowned Miss Mon 2023 Moko Koza releases new song, Livin’

A22-year-old Beley from Tobu unit was crowned Miss Mon 2023 during an event held at local ground Mon on April 3. Miss Mon Beauty Pageant 2023 was organised by Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK) coinciding with the Aoleang Festival of the Konyak Naga tribe.

19-year-old Polem

Phangmei from Kohima unit bagged the first runnerup while 19-year-old Leom from Naginimora unit was adjudged as the second runner-up.

SPOAA to organise Mr & Miss Eastern Nagaland

Photogenic in subtitles category, while Polem Phangmei bagged Miss Perfect 10 and Lejoi bagged Miss Congeniality.

Altogether, 21 contestants from 16 KNSK units participated in the beauty contest. Former president Eastern Nagaland Women Organization, MD Shekinah Christian Foundation and social worker, Birila Tokiu graced the pageant as the special guest. The beauty pageant was attended by all the important dignitaries, CSO’s officials and public under Mon district.

Society for Promotion of Oriental Arts and Aesthetics (SPOAA) in collaboration with Aoleang Festival 2023, Mon, will be organizing the first Mr Eastern Nagaland and second edition of Miss Eastern Nagaland 2023.

Altogether, 20 contes- tants will be vying for the titles in the two categories.

The event is scheduled to be held on April 6 at local ground, Mon Town.

Winners of the pageant will represent Nagaland in Mr. India International and Miss India Global 2024, under the agency Talenticaa. Talenticaa is associated with over 13 international countries. Tickets are available at Hoyang Restaurant (Helipad), Butterfly Shop, 90 Minutes Café and Chemshy Bakery. (Correspondent)

South Korean band Seventeen is set to return with their 10th mini album ‘FML’ after a six-month long world tour of 29 shows across 21 cities.

The K-pop supergroup recently unveiled an image offering a first look into their upcoming mini album through official social media channels. The teaser image interweaves still photos of a bed on a puddle of water, a reading lamp and a boxing ring, all tinted in muted shades of blue. The image was followed by a tracklist, which revealed there will be two singles leading the upcoming mini album, with one of the single’s titles yet to be disclosed.

The new mini album comes after nine months of ‘Sector 17’ which is the repackage of the band’s fourth full-length album. The album charted at number four on the Billboard 200.

The 4th full-length album ‘Face the Sun’, released in May last year and was the best-selling album in Korea in 2022 with 3.28 mn copies sold. The band’s 10th Mini Album ‘FML’ will drop on April 24 at 2.30 p.m. The band also announced an interactive exhibition titled ‘Seventeen Street’ in Seoul from April 4 to 16. (IANS)

Renowned Naga artiste and rapper, Moko Koza released a new video titled, Livin’ on Tuesday, featuring iLmi Longkumer.

Livin’ is the third single from the new album, Naga Manu, shot and edited by Ozuki Studio.

The song, produced by NagaBeatz, embarks on a smooth piano melody accompanied with a mellow trumpet sound giving the song a summer tune vibe.

The song talks about appreciating the little things in life and living in the moment.

Livin’ is now available on Youtube and on all other music streaming platforms.

Moko Koza was also adjudged as the Best Hip Hop/Rap Artiste for his song ‘Naga Manu’ in the recently announced, Radio City Freedom Award Season 7. He won alongside renowned Naga artiste, Alobo Naga, who was adjudged as the Best Rock artiste for his song, I Am Yours. (Correspondent)
