representation and advice Our specialist advice team is here to support you and in doing so, ensure you can carry out your job and fulfil your professional responsibilities with credibility, competence and confidence. Whether you need support with handling a difficult conversation, dealing with a parental complaint, tackling poor staff performance, or dealing with decisions about pupil behaviour, please get in touch. Normally, most queries are dealt with in the first instance, but where the issue’s particularly challenging or complex, we’ll arrange for you to speak to a specialist adviser. Their title says it all: experts in their field of primary and secondary school leadership, human resources, and employment legislation. Despite being a formidable team, we can also draw on wider expertise throughout the union, especially from our colleagues in the policy team who can raise matters on your behalf with government, and we can call on our regional officer team who are located in your own geographical region.
