Rössing Uranium donates N$ 300 000 towards Emergency Disaster Relief Fund

Earlier in February, Rössing Uranium donated N$300 000 towards the National Emergency Disaster Relief Fund to assistwiththefloodsinthenorthernpartsofNamibia.

Asaresponsiblecorporatecitizen,RössingUraniumpositively responded to the request through the Ministry of Mines and Energy to support the devastating situation that has affected communitiesinthenorthernregions.

During the handover, Rössing Uranium's Managing Director Johan Coetzee said, “we are aware of the floods currently experiencedinthenorthernregionsandasabusiness,wefeltthat oursupportcanassistthesecommunitiesaffectedbythefloods.” Coetzee further said, “ss a responsible business, Rössing Uranium will continue to support the Namibian government's initiatives to benefit Namibians, as we live up to our corporate sloganof'WorkingforNamibia'.”

The Donation was received by the Prime Minister of Namibia Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila, on behalf of the Emergency DisasterFund.
