Adult Basketball League

Nampa Recreation Department is offering an Adult Basketball League. Each team will play eight games followed by a single elimination tournament. All games will consist of two 20-minute halves. Noncompetitive leagues will play on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday evenings. Competitive leagues will play Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. Teams may be moved divisions after they have played four games. Game times will be 7pm, 8pm or 9pm. Required team meeting January 4. (one representative from each team is required to attend) League play will begin the week of January 8, 2024.

Player fee: $10 Nampa residents, $15

Non-residents

Games will be played at West, South, East Valley or Lone Star Middle Schools.

Winter Spikeball Tournament

Get out of the cold and join us for our Winter Spikeball Tournament. Come in your best ugly sweater winter outfit to compete for the best dressed trophy and have a good time. Matches consist of 3 games to 21 points (winning by 2). Each team will play a double elimination tournament following pool play to determine seeding.

Ages 16 and up with parent signature.

Adult-Fall Coed Recreational Volleyball League

Nampa Parks & Recreation is offering a Coed Recreational Volleyball League. Each team will play 8 regular season matches. Teams play two matches a week with a double elimination tournament scheduled at the end of league play. Games will be played at Nampa Middle Schools. League play will begin the week of September 18 (Monday-Thursday nights).

Recreation Center Adult Winter Coed Volleyball

Harward Recreation Center is offering a Coed Volleyball League. Fee covers eight games and a double elimination tournament. Teams play one game a week followed by a double elimination tournament. Games will be played at the Harward Recreation Center.

League play will begin the week of January 8, 2024.

Adult League Interest List

Tai Chi Classes

The beginning class covers the fundamentals of Tai Chi including basic movements, breathing, meditation, warm-up form and an introduction on the Yang Style Short form. The intermediate class continues with movements, breathing, meditation, the Yang Short form, Yang Long form, and an introduction to push hands (Tai Chi sparring).

Traditions Tang Soo Do

This class teaches self-confidence, builds self-esteem, and improves balance, while establishing discipline and courtesy towards others. Participants will learn age-appropriate self-defense and weapons training. These classes are non-violent; sparring is optional. Students should wear loose fitting clothing, such as sweatpants and a t-shirt. No jewelry or watches during class. A mouth guard and a groin protector cup (males) are recommended.
