PRODUCTION DAIRY 05/11/12 - 1. Finishing of experimenting with my test Idents and looking for other experiments I can produce to get a further understanding of what I want my final piece to look like. 08/11/12 -2.Finished up my tests and decided what I was going to do for my final Ident, I made enough examples to help me out and decide using different effects and techniques. 15/11/12 - 3.Started to add more information of my 'Feasibility study' report trying to get into more detail surrounding my Ident. Gathered information on various programs that I may use within my Ident that makes it stand out or makes things easier for me. 19/11/12 - 4.From my research I found out some presets that could do well within my Ident which I ended up downloading, this included lighting styles that can make the colours from my Ident pop out more. 22/11/12 - 5. -- [ABSENT] - so I planned out some work at home to do, mainly written work because I wasn't 100% about some actions I was going to make with my Ident. 26/11/12 - 6.Had a few problems with the alignment of my Ident so I spent 2 hours on learning how to fix it which turned out successful. Started to add new transitions to my Ident that I had previously installed in lesson 4. 29/11/12 - 7. Took screenshots from the Tallis website and editing them in After Effects to make it look like it was live footage, This included using fake cursors and key framing the movement throughout the different screenshots. 03/12/12 - 8. Got a Camera from the school and filmed a clip of the orange school corridor whiles some student’s walk past it. This footage was put into a motion-tracking program so that my Ident file would be tracked well onto my background. I came across some errors when it came to tracking the clip I shot had a streak of light causing it to be over exposed and not recognised by the program. 06/12/12 - 9. A few mistakes were made whiles rendering my Ident, I went back into my editing program and chopped down the unnecessary parts to create another version of my second Ident. 10/12/12 - 10. Completed research to be checked over in a later lesson for final correction.
13/12/12 - 11.Completed and uploaded Ident then wrote about it in my weebly for evaluation. 17/12/12 - 12. Added Idents that I have made during my own time whiles practising for me final Ident. 20/12/12 - 13.Finished off writing about my final Ident and added final touches to all my pre production planning Â
