Rama the 5th visited this waterfall. Although it is long time ago, the beauty of Sai Yok Yai waterfall remains beautiful as the lyrics of the song. Sai Yok Yai waterfall or Khao Jone in the local name came from the sound of waterfall throws to Kwai Noi River from the limestone cliff. This waterfall is one of the few waterfalls in Thailand that tourists have to take the boat or the raft to visit and to see its very nice scene that is hidden in the green forest. The most thrilling way to visit here is to rent the bamboo raft to go downstream along Kwai River. It will lead you to pass the very good atmosphere of rain forest on the riverbanks before arriving to Sai Yok Yai waterfall. The Ghost Mask - It is made from the coir (from the outer husk of the coconut) and the earthen steamer (the equipment to steam sticky rice made from bamboo), painted in colors representing a ghost’s face and decorated with a hook-shaped nose. 2.) The dress was designed and cut from several kinds and several colorful fabrics. 3.) Cow bell, they hang a musical instrument called “MakKa Lang” which looks like a cow bell made from wood hanged from the performer’s waist. When they walk with the music along the parade and shake their butt with joy, this MakKa Lang will ring and make a sound. 4.) Wooden sword - they swing it to make joke with the audiences. They believe that it is one way of making a wish to god for the rain to come and water the crops. The parade of Phi Ta Khon is to walk and dance around the vil-
Thai Halloween is called Phi Ta Khon Festival (Phi means ghost.) that held on at Amphoe Dansai, Loei province. Loei province has always been a center of joke that it is a far far away province that can never reached because the word Loei in Thai means passed. In fact, Loei is far from Bangkok about 6 hours or 1 hour by plane (serves by Nok Air airline). This festival started in Amphoe Dansai, a little village located at Mun River, before it became a well-known festival and symbol of Loei. The preparation of the crepe flour part uses the golden bean (peeled green beans). One of the outstanding and unique process of Mudmee is to dye either the warp or weft fabric prior to weaving that are used to pattern textiles - after the bindings into the thread before cloth construction, the weaving of fabric takes place. Herein, lies the difference between Ikat and tiedye - the tie-dye technique is woven first and the resist bindings are then applied to the fabric, which is dyed. Why Mudmee Ikat Silk? - Mudmee (also called “Ikat or Ikkat”) is a hand made woven Thai silk, comes from the Northeastern part of Thailand. The intricate traditional geometric and zoomorphic motifs of Mudmee Thai Silk have been handed down for centuries. The design and patterns in Mudmee are created primarily by using various colours in the weft (horizontal/left - to - right threads) of the fabric. Mudmee fabric is usually a four-yard piece of cloth that is two yards a solid or two-tone colour and two yards the Mudmee pattern. However, Mudmee can be weaved in any length required.

These are the beginning of Her intention to represent the Mudmee or internationally known as Ikat silk. Her Majesty knew that when on aboard, She would be representing both Thailand and Thai women. Thus, in addition to western high fashion, Her Majesty hoped and wished Her wardrobe to contain Thai Styles that would connote the country’s unique cultural identity. In 1941 the government issued a decree requiring all Thais to wear Western Clothing. As a result, post-war Thailand had no national dress equivalent to India’s Sari or Japan’s Kimono - it would have to be created. Preparations for the tour began nearly two years in advance. Her Majesty led a team of consultants and advisors that included historians, prominent ladies of the court, Her long time Thai fashion designer Urai Luemrung, and other local designers. Eventually, the team also came to include Pierre Balmain, the French Couturier

When asked about which kind of diseases that Acupuncture therapy and Cupping can heal, acupuncturist Narathanakron answered “The main disease is chronic pain, where patients take medicine but they don’t get better nor recover. Some cases need to be healed by Chinese herbal medicine to relieve their pain, to adjust body balance, to build strong bones, to relax stress and to get rid of toxic. When your body is away from toxic, it will adjust the balance to be normal.” According to WHO (World Health Organization), in a study carried out at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, acupuncture may help treat 28 conditions, while some proofs indicate it may have an effective therapeutic value for many more. Also, people with tension headaches and/or migraines may find acupuncture very helpful in alleviating their symptoms. However, people at any age may take the therapy except for those patients who are tired, pregnant or with thrombosis symptoms. It is also advisable
due to an unsuccessful surgery he has undergone in Europe. To avoid another surgery that would cause more pain in his life, Christopher has consulted Sukit Narathanakron, an acupuncturist at Mae Fah Luang Hospital, Bangkok for an alternative choice to cure his pain that goes down to both of his legs and obstructs him from the daily routine. The acupuncturist checked his medical history before giving the treatment. The brachial pulse check followed by a tongue check was to diagnose Christopher’s health condition. Afterwards, he started to insert extremely thin needles through Christopher’s skin at strategic points on hands and feet as the nerves in the hand were linked to all parts of the body and could heal his problem with indirect pressure on his back. منــذ أســابيع قليلــة مقنــا بزيــارة عيــادة جامعــة مــاي فــاه لــواجن يف طريــق ســاتورن الــذي يقــدم العــاج باإلبــر الصينيــة لصديقنــا ،كريســتوفر ، الــذي اكن يعــاين مــن آالم أســفل الظهــر بســبب معليــة جراحيــة غــر ناحجــة خضــع هلــا يف أوروبــا .لتجنــب معليــة جراحيــة أخــرى من شــأهنا أن تســبب املزيــد مــن األمل يف حياتــه ،استشــار كريســتوفر أخصــاىئ العــاج باإلبــر الصينيــة "ســوكيت نــارا تانــا كــورن" ،وهــو أخصــاىئ العــاج باإلبــر الصينيــة يف مستشــى مــاي فــاه لــواجن ،بانكــوك الجيــاد خيــار بديــل لعــاج أملــه الــذى يؤثــر عــى ســاقيه ،ويعــوق نظامــه اليــويم. قــام أخصــاىئ اإلبــر الصينيــة بفحــص تارخيــه الطــي قبــل عالجــه .قــام األخصــاىئ بفحــص النبــض مث حفــص اللســان لتخشيــص حالــة كريســتوفر الصحيــة .بعــد ذلــك ،قــام بإدخــال إبــر رقيقــة للغايــة اىل جلــد كريســتوفر يف نقــاط اســراتيجية عــى اليديــن والقدمــن ألن أعصــاب اليــد مربوطــة جبميــع أجــزاء اجلســم ،وميكــن أن تعــاجل مشــلته عــن طريــق الضغــط غــر املبــارش عــى ظهــره .انتظــر كريســتوفر 20دقيقــة لتحفــز األعصــاب مث واصــل العــاج باحلجامــة الــذى يعتقــد أنــه ينقــل حركــة الــدم مــن خــال الشــفط بالكــؤوس لملســاعدة عــى التــام اجلــروح وختفيــف اآلالم . 10
