Editor’s Note: These are simply musings from Flip-Flop, an exuberant & opinionated shaggy dog. They are not any sort of product endorsement or “dis” by this publication or any member of our editorial team. Just a bit about stuff she likes (Flips) and stuff she doesn’t (Flops)!

Fruitcake Beds This fruitcake dog bed looks deliciously cozy and snuggly…and could be the perfect bed if your dog happens to be a “Foodie.” It also offers an extra bonus… plush pieces of fruit to use as pillows or toys to toss about! What a sweet bed for canines or cats.

Dog Duvets This adorable “Playful Pups” duvet cover brings a big grin to my shaggy face. Of course it would, as it’s covered with lots of wonderful dogs! Being the designingdog that I am, I think this duvet is a perfect winter look for any little munchkin’s room. This is a FLIP for sure! (TheCompanyStore.com)

Dog Puzzles Oh, wouldn’t we canines all love to see our mugs on a jigsaw puzzle? Now we can! Our peeps just need to go to the Pawzzle website, upload one of our great photos and voila…a one-of-a-kind-masterpiece of their favorite pup will be delivered to them! What a fun gift for pet parents and their friends. (GetPawzzle.com) Fruitcakes seem to make it on my list every year. I wonder who really eats them. I wouldn’t eat a piece of fruitcake. And now there are fruitcake recipes for dogs…that contain no alcohol like the human recipes do. I mean really…alcohol is about the only good ingredient in the recipe. Yep…fruitcakes are a real FLOP in my book.

Dog PJs Oh Lordy! Please NO! We canines tolerate a lot from our humans…sweaters, coats, bows, bandanas and even silly hairdos. But I think pajamas is just pushing it a bit too far. We’d much prefer to simply snuggle with our peeps to stay warm rather than being draped in any

style of flannel! Chicken Books Usually I dis a bit about cats, but now it’s the chicken’s turn. I’ve come across lots of books about chickens lately, such as How to Speak Chicken, For Cluck’s Sake and more. I don’t get why one would want to speak or cluck like a chicken…or even read about chickens. But all to their own, I guess! Perhaps it’s just a feather fetish thing. I don’t know nor probably ever will!
