Each year, Youth Bridge hosts one of its premier events called “Starry, Starry Night…Almost van Gogh” to raise money for Art Therapy Programs for youth in residential care. This program has been funded by previous partners such as Cox, Baum Foundation, Sam’s Club, Hershey and Denise Garner, Target, Glazer’s, Embassy Suites, Razorback Foundation and many individual contributors, as well as our media partners: CitiScapes, KUAF, NWA Media and 3W. Youth Bridge programs depend on the generosity of our partners to keep operating. We hope you will consider joining this team of contributors. Because of increasing attendance at this popular event, we have moved to a new location and date. Our new location is the Embassy Suites and the event will be on November 13, 2014. The space will be transformed into a French cottage vineyard replete with art pieces from youth, amateurs and professionals. New this year will be the culinary artisans paired with other trade artists to explore art juxtaposed in a creative ways. The traditional art form used in the past for Starry, Starry Night will still be prominent, but other forms that incorporate sound, image and smell will also be a part of this fun event. Paintings, prints, drawings, photography, craft, design, performance, mixed-media, sculpture, installation, and live art will all be welcome. The theme has been opened up to include not only the van Gogh creations, but also your choice of other favorite artists or your own original masterpiece.

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS AND BENEFITS “Starry, Starry Night…Almost a Masterpiece” Challenge and Art Auction is a unique event to raise money for our Painting Better Futures Drive for our youth Art Therapy and to build a dedicated Education Center at our new Washington County Complex. This proposed Education Center is a part of our capital campaign to bring all of our Washington County operations to one convenient location. This event also funds the Art Therapy Programs in our shelters that help youth in crisis by providing a safe outlet to express their feelings. Last year’s event was a huge success with well over 300 in attendance. Held at the Garner Farm, it raised over $50,000 to support care, services and therapy for the over 500 youth in our residential programs. This year, we hope to raise twice as much with the expansion of the art mediums to music, theater, culinary arts and live performances. We hope you will support our cause by choosing a sponsorship level for this year’s event to be held at the Embassy Suites on November 13, 2014. Your sponsorship would be a wonderful addition to the event and would certainly help increase the amount to be raised during the art auction .

Please make checks payable to Youth Bridge, Inc. Sponsors should include a logo as it should appear in any publicity or marketing materials for this event. Logos are accepted in the following formats: .jpeg, .gif, or .png file. Any collateral material produced for the event, including apparel and specialty items not specifically addressed in the sponsor benefits must be approved by Youth Bridge, Inc. and are to be produced at the expense of the sponsor. Your support is sincerely appreciated. Proceeds will benefit Youth Bridge, Inc., a non-profit organization with 501 (c)3 status for tax purposes. Youth Bridge Inc. Tax ID number is 710387126. Contributors may only use the “Starry, Starry Night” name in advertising and promotional materials with the written permission of Youth Bridge, Inc. All requests must be submitted to Youth Bridge in writing, with samples if applicable, a minimum of three days before media deadlines. Youth Bridge may withhold its consent to use the name “Starry, Starry Night” for any reason it deems necessary. Failure to pay any portion of your contribution on or before the date indicated on the attached contract or any invoice sent by Youth Bridge shall result in the forfeiture of contributor rights. Contributors are entitled to the rights and benefits associated with the sponsorship level indicated on the appropriate page of the Sponsorship Packet. Youth Bridge reserves the right to make non-material modification to those benefits from time to time. Youth Bridge is not responsible for damages that result from delays or postponements of “Starry, Starry Night…Almost a Masterpiece” Challenge & Art Auction due to circumstances beyond our control.
