aced with declining revenues, increasing debt, seven years of operating deficits and changes in leadership, the past decade has been financially challenging for Crossroads.

The plan to reduce expenses, realize cost-efficiencies, overhaul fundraising, develop new revenue sources and eliminate debt is succeeding.

Notable in our plan, we identified that our office and studio centre in Burlington, Ontario was too large for our needs and required a $ multi-million investment for upkeep. So, after a year of discussion, prayer and planning, and with the blessing of our founder Rev. David Mainse prior to his passing — we sold the building in spring 2018 to a Christian business leader with a vision and capacity to breathe new life into the centre.

Today, as we lease back the smaller space we need for our new Media Mission Centre and Content Creation Studios, we are debt-free, on track for another operating surplus year, and better able to focus our attention and resources entirely on the pursuit of our mission and vision.
