We offer amazing and affordable programs in both California (near Los Angeles) and Florida (near Fort Lauderdale). Our 200 hour and 300-hour programs are inspired by the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya. His focus on an individualized approach to yoga for each student is at the heart of our training. Through our programs, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the many layers of yoga, advance your own practice, and learn to effectively share your knowledge with others, all in a fun and supportive environment. You will learn how to design and teach safe and transformational yoga classes, and how to use modifications and variations of postures to meet the needs of different individuals. You will also learn how to connect with your students and help them, and yourself, gain a deeper internal awareness and sense of ease through the practice of yoga. You will learn to have confidence in your teaching and in your practice and to find your own unique voice as a yoga teacher. Through our programs, you will learn how to teach a variety of forms of hatha yoga, as well as different methods for effective teaching. Rather than mould you into our style, we believe it is important to honour the individual in you and to help you find your own unique style and path in your yoga journey. It was noted that yoga breathing could improve the function of several systems in the body. This review found that controlling the pace of breathing had a major effect on the cardiovascular system. This was evidenced by favourable changes in heart rate, stroke capacity, arterial pressure, and heart contractility. The authors of this study suggest that yoga breathing may actually improve the functioning of the brain's cardiorespiratory centre.

Yoga can improve balance Balancing is not just about standing on one leg in Tree Pose in your yoga class. Yoga may boost immunity Chronic stress negatively impacts the immune system You're more likely to get ill if your immune system is compromised. Yoga may reduce anxiety Anxiety disorders may be the most prevalent mental health disorder in the United States, according to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. Yoga may improve quality of life Science has begun to explain how yoga and meditation can have profound effects on the mind and body in the past decade. In studies, yoga is shown to lower stress and anxiety symptoms, improve sleep quality, boost immunity health, and improve memory function.

Yoga may reduce anxiety A recent report by the Anxiety and Depression Association of America indicates that anxiety disorders may constitute one of the most prevalent mental illnesses among Americans. Several recent studies have found positive results when yoga is used to improve self-esteem and perceptions of body image in populations who have low selfesteem and body image issues

Yoga improves flexibility Flexibility is an important component of physical fitness. Yoga is available in many styles, ranging from high to moderate to mild intensity. Research has shown that even low-intensity styles can increase flexibility. It seems that yoga is especially beneficial for improving flexibility in older adults. We lose flexibility as we age. Yoga also slows down loss and improves flexibility among older individuals, according to a 2019 study.

Yoga helps with stress relief In light of this, it is not surprising that stress relief was cited as the second most popular reason people select for doing yoga. Science has proven that yoga, and especially asana, is excellent at reducing stress. But don't forget - the physical practice is just one aspect of yoga. There is also evidence that breathing exercises, meditation, and auditory rituals, such as chanting, help relieve tension and stress.
