The name Berlin Jobs represents the place and the main feature of the tool. Its supposed to be simple and communicate immediately. The unpretentious and simple approach tends to reach the young people in different educational levels. Although the tool also is used to other services, such as displaying the statistical data trough the years of specific careers and areas of the city, the main purpose is to provide a bridge between the youth and their future employer. The lettering was designed to represent urban landscapes, buildings and also obstacles present in games, where the player has to jump, grab special items, open portals, etc, in order to pass to the next level. The green is related to traffic lights. The message: pass the obstacles and go ahead! The grey is related to the buildings present in big cities, the dots represent extra points to conquer on the way. The red dot was a small reference to Berlin flag colour. Contrasting with the green generates dynamic and movement.
