The on-base laundry facilities (coin operated) are located on Sigsbee Park at the Recreational Lodging Campground.

MAINTENANCE ISSUES

Report any maintenance discrepancies to the front desk at your earliest convenience. For after-hours lock box and immediate office assistance call 305-797-4431.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

CONDUCT

Guests are responsible for their own conduct as well as their guests or family members traveling with them while on the installation. The sponsor will be liable for any loss or damage to property caused be abuse, negligence, or willful misconduct.

Guests are required to pay for their stay in full at check-in. If you arrive after hours, visit the front desk the following morning at your earliest convenience to complete the check-in process. PCS guests are required to pay every 14 days.

PARKING

Spaces are provided in close proximity to all Vacation Rentals units. Parking spaces outside of the Navy Getaways Vacation Rentals office check-in/out are reserved for that purpose.

QUIET TIME

Be considerate of your neighbors. Quiet hours are 10 PM – 6 AM. To report a noise complaint call, 904-542-3109.

KITCHEN SUPPLIES AND LINENS

There will be an additional charge if any supplies are damaged beyond repair and need to be replaced.

FOOD

Keep all prepared food items in the refrigerator or in a tightly sealed container. Being in such a tropical climate, the food can attract ants.

ENERGY CONSERVATION

To conserve energy, turn off the television and lights when not occupying the unit. All appliances should be turned

off while not in use. Turn the thermostat on the AC to 78 degrees or higher when the unit is unoccupied. Thank you for your cooperation.

GOWIFI IS HERE !

To access the Internet, guests are required to setup an account. A credit card number is requested for identification purposes; however, you will NOT be charged.

How it works: Using GoWIFI is simple. Follow these three easy steps to create a GoWIFI account:

1. Select the GoWIFI SSID network name using the wireless management tool on your PC/laptop/ Tablet or mobile device.

2. Once connected to the GoWIFI network, open the Internet browser and the page will redirect to the GoWIFI login screen. [continued ]

3. At the login screen, do one of the following:

Create an account: Click the “sign up now” button and register.

Log-in: Enter username and password and click the “Go” button. This is a quick, onetime only sign-up process for a GoWIFI account.

The GoWIFI account works at all Navy bases where you see the hotspot.

Boca Chica Marina provides long-term and short-term boat slips. The marina amenities include the Navigator's Bar and Fly Away Cafe, showers, laundry, pump-out services, and a swimming beach with picnic areas and grills. Gear rentals include: kayaks and paddleboards

Sigsbee Marina includes a ship store which offers fuel, bait, ice, tackle, and gear rentals such as kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling fins, fishing rods, and reels. The marina also rents a 21’ center console fishing boat.

Tickets & Travel Office, located on Sigsbee Park, offers discounted tickets to land, water, fishing and diving attractions as well as discounted tickets to theme parks, cruises, hotels, and flights. Also, ask about discounted tickets to the local movie theaters.

BOCA CHICA FIELD

•

As you approach the stoplight leaving Trumbo Point, turn left onto Palm Ave. Travel 0.5 miles.

• At the stoplight of N. Roosevelt Blvd., turn left and travel 2.5 miles.

• At the intersection of N. Roosevelt Blvd., and US 1, turn left at the stoplight. Travel approximately 4 miles to MM8.

• Take Boca Chica exit on the right. Pass through front gate Sentry.

• The first right will take you to the fitness center and Landing Zone Resource Center.

• To go to Airlanes Bowling Center & Grill, continue straight past the front gate Sentry and turn left onto Langley Ave.

• To go to Navigator’s Bar, Fly Away Café, Marina and beach access, continue straight past the front gate Sentry. At the stop sign, turn right onto Midway Ave. for 1.5 miles.

SIGSBEE PARK

(Car Wash, Commissary, Fitness Center, Hideaway Grill, Marina, Navy Exchange, Recreational Lodging Campground, Sunset Lounge Bar, Tickets and Travel Office)

• As you approach the stoplight leaving Trumbo Point, turn left onto Palm Ave. Travel 0.5 miles.

• At the stoplight of N. Roosevelt Blvd., Turn left. Travel 1 mile.

• At the third stoplight, take a left onto Dredgers Key Rd.

• Proceed to the front gate Sentry.

• Travel 0.5 miles and veer onto Sigsbee Rd. and travel approximately 0.25 miles.

• The Tickets and Travel and Recreational Lodging Campground offices will be on your left and the Commissary and Navy Exchange will be on your right. Follow Sigsbee Rd. just past the intersection, and the car wash will be on the right.

• If you turn left at the corner of Arthur Sawyer Dr. and Sigsbee Rd., you will pass the Navy Lodge on your right. Take the first right immediately after the Navy Lodge. This road will take you to the Sunset Lounge Bar, Hideaway Grill and marina.

TRUMAN ANNEX

(Beachside Recreation Center and Grill, Fitness Center, Beach)

• As you approach the stoplight leaving Trumbo Point, turn right onto Palm Ave., and travel straight (Palm Ave. becomes Eaton St. at the intersection of White St., which is the first stoplight).

• Continue traveling straight until you reach Whitehead St.

• Turn left and travel to Southard St.

• Turn right and travel through the Truman Annex complex. Take the second exit on the roundabout.

•

At the stop sign, turn left toward the front gate Sentry. If you go straight at the stop sign, the road will take you into the Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park.

• At the stop sign past the front gate Sentry, turn right and travel past the Navy Gateway Inns and Suites buildings until you come to the Beachside Recreation Center and Grill, Fitness Center and beach access.

Extensive damage may be caused by flying debris that may be picked up and hurled with great velocity. These missiles constitute one of the greatest dangers to personnel and property. In addition, the ocean has been known to rise as much as 7 feet over the island.
