The new image of the band and lyrics of their new songs regularly reference flowers and nature so this was the approach I took with the visuals.

For inspiration I researched how flowers, photos and illustrations, were used on a variety of formats not just CD packaging. I could see that they were detailed and layered images that work well with the contrast of type or logo. OUGD603_ 1 of 4
Brief title: 78 violet Concept & ideas
Floral influences came through from my inspiration into the ideas for the logo. This was later developed and changed so that the logo was simplified to work better at different scales.

Following the inspiration which I have gathered and based around the lyrics of the song I looked at illustrating with various flowers.

Development for this brief took a great deal of time looking at various different approaches to achieve the required visuals.

The final cover development used the experimental approach which I had been exploring previously keeping a strong emphasis on the logo and violet colour scheme.
