Context Leeds Cat Rescue is a voluntary organisation and is run by a group of cat loving volunteers who all work, have families or lead generally busy lives but still find the time to rescue, rehabilitate and do whatever they can for the lost, neglected and forgotten cats and kittens of West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Brief or Tasks Produce branding for Leeds cat rescue and consider a range of products that could be used to promote the work of the charity to the relevant target audience. The current website and logo lacks aesthetic and is clear that the charity is voluntary run; with this is mind the design should be proposed to the charity in a good gesture and passion of their work once completed. Preparation/Research suggestions You will need to consider who is the relevant target audience and what is suitable aesthetic for the purpose and market. Research what content is needed to be visually displayed and how the user navigates through this. Evidence – for this project students should submit Suitable new logo and branding for the rescue centre Re design of their website including information which they already display. Printed publications promoting the work of the charity Other products that could be branded as part of the rescue such as pet started products. Regular posts to your design practice and context blog in response to your findings and practical investigations. Clearly tagged posts with the correct module code and relevant information.
