Context The 1980s was popular for shows such as Dallas and The Cosby Show along with films such as Back to the Future and E.T. Brief or Tasks 1980s televisions shows and films are still much loved today but have no dedicated channel to support them like there is for music and other film genres. Your task is to propose and design a channel concept that would show only those programs from the 80s. The channel would need to bring 80s shows into the 21st century TV perspective. Preparation/Research suggestions Consider what other channels do to attract and expand their range, also what other special features do they use. You will need to consider what shows and films were popular and released in the 1980s and also the style and aesthetic which would be suitable. Evidence – for this project students should submit Suitable name and brand guidelines for the channel Channel concept visuals along with an app/iplayer proposal. Regular posts to your design practice and context blog in response to your findings and practical investigations. Clearly tagged posts with the correct module code and relevant information.
