Context Gee’s haulage are a family run firm, established in 1981. Their beliefs are old-fashioned values of excellent service and putting customers’ needs first. Over the years, they have kept fully up-to-date with the latest technology to ensure that they remain at the leading edge of modern bespoke haulage, and now have a fleet that enables them to respond to any request a customer might make. Based in Wakefield, Yorkshire, Gee’s is in a prime location to serve the whole of the UK. Brief or Tasks The haulage fleet may offer up to date technology and organisation to get the job done but this is not reflected within the traffic and admin offices. The brief requires a set of notepads to be create that can be used across areas within the office to improve staff organisation. The notepads need to be simple in order to be easily used by all members but yet offer the right format for the job at hand. This will need to be created within a quick turn around. Preparation/Research suggestions As this is a live brief the notepads must work within context so it would be worth studying this and the roles that are used in the office. Consider the suitable formats that will be needed for each role. Evidence – for this project students should submit A series of notepads that work well within context Photo documentation of them working for each role intended Briefing: Monday 30/09/2013

Deadline: Thursday 22/05/2014
