Building the machines that build America.

Smart Works.

Investing in a safe, modern infrastructure system is one of the most important things that can get our economy rolling and we’re proud to make equipment that is part of that. Volvo Construction Equipment is doing our own investing right here in Pennsylvania. In the last few years we’ve invested over $140M to expand and and add local production in Shippensburg. On top of that, we’re creating business for North American suppliers, helping to reduce lead times for our customers and further supporting the U.S. economy. Here’s to building smart. Here’s to building America. Find out more about us at volvoce.com/smartworks.

!

Whether this is your first time or 57th time attending, I am delighted to welcome you to the 2014 Shippensburg Community Fair! This year we are welcoming several new attractions to the fairgrounds, so be sure to check them out. If rides, games, or livestock aren’t really your thing, no problem! We also have excellent food and live entertainment. You can make memories and traditions that will last a lifetime all while becoming better acquainted with our lovely little town! The Fair is a great event that brings the community closer together through fun, food, and farming. It also helps boost the economy by promoting tourism and providing additional sources of revenue to private groups, churches, and other community organizations. These groups are a part of both the community and the Fair’s identity – they are the backbone to our wonderful town, so I invite you to show them your support. So thank you for coming out - it’s sure to be a week to remember!

This year, we are pleased to feature the thrilling addition of Combined Forces Laser Tag, an elite group that brings everything you need to experience the fun and excitement of laser tag. Laser tag is one of the most exciting live action gaming experiences a person can have. Using infrared technology no different than your TV remote, laser tag is a fun, painless, hightech, and safe alternative to paintball. Laser tag can be simple games of freefor-all, or strategic team building experiences. Either way, laser tag is thrilling fun for the whole family! Don’t miss out on your chance to experience it at this year’s Fair!
