Encompass is a community focused organisation with various reliable programs and services available to a range of community members. The organisation is managed by a number of experienced, passionate, friendly and professional staff. Mainly targeting people with all forms of disability, as well as individuals who are facing some sort of disadvantage, the brand identity of the organisation has been designed to attract the attention of these types of people, with a clear and concise identity.

To continue and improve the services, the organisation must reach the attention of local community members, as well as businesses around this area interested in supporting the organisation through community services, volunteer work or sponsorships, the Victorian government, as well as other non for profit organisations, to generate fundings and support of the services. With the simple and straight forward tag line, ‘Your vision is Our vision - whatever it takes!’ emphasises the importance the organisation founds in providing the best possible services for their clients as well as creating a diverse brand identity, attracting both new clients and local businesses. The branding has a corporate, clear and modern take on the organisation and representing the quality of the services they provide and creating an organisation you want to be associated with.

Incorrect Logo use

Correct and consistent usage of the logo is essential to the integrity of the Encompass identity. Variation from these guidelines will result in a diluted and inconsistent visual identity. To the right are some examples of incorrect usage of the logo.

Colours

The Encompass logo colour palette consists of 3 different colours – maroon, black and white. For consistency, only use the exact colour specifications given here. For printed material, use the spot colour (Pantone) or 4-colour process (CMYK) breakdown for each colour. For on screen applications (e.g. Web and Power Point), use the RGB breakdown. Tints of black and maroon are reserved for use in charts and graphs only. When reproducing large areas of black in print, a richer black can be achieved by adding tints of other inks. C20 M15 Y15 K100 is recommended. Results will vary for different print methods and stocks. Consult your printer and perform a print test if in doubt.

Colour Palette The logo must always be displayed in the maroon or black colours shown on the previous page, as it displays the logo in a corporate manner, however the colour palette may be extended if the logo is displayed on a solid colour. If this does become necessary the logo MUST be displayed in white and only the background colour can be altered. Ensure that any additional colours are compatible with the originals. Fluorescent, metallic or very light colours are not suitable when displaying the Encompass logo. Here are some suggested colours to be used if a solid colour must be applied to a design accompanied by the logo. The Encompass brand uses two typefaces on the logo design. Only use these two typefaces to retain brand consistency. Bellerose is used to display the word ‘Encompass’, KG Lego House is used to display the words ‘Community House’ and Arial is used for onscreen applications.

Type alignment

The Encompass logo has a particular alignment for the text. The word ‘Community services’ has been deliberately placed between the descenders of the ‘P’ letter in the word ‘Encompass’ The size of the word ‘Community services’ relies entirely on the way it is aligned with the word ‘Encompass’. The examples on the right and the next page present broken down guides when using the logo.

The logo has been aligned accordingly to lettering, space available and the width of the logo itself, providing a well constructed and professional design.

This structure must be ensured that is utilised whenever the logo is used to create a consist and clear brand identity. The front of the card will feature the logo represented in white, against the maroon colour. The logo and tag line are separated by a solid white line, the same width of the tagline. The website is also displayed in a light grey colour.
