JORGJI GJIKOPULLI (Greek)
O Jorgji Gjikopulli Γεννήθηκε το 1939 στην Αθήνα. Αποφοίτησε το 1964 στο Αριστοτεχνικό Λύκειο "Jordan Misja" στα Τίρανα και το 1969 στην Ακαδημία Τεχνών των Τιράνων άρχισε να εργάζεται για ένα χρόνο ως καθηγητής στην Εθνική Πινακοθήκη. Μέχρι το 1982 ήταν Επιθεωρητής του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού και Παιδείας. Όντας Καθηγητής και Διευθυντής του Τμήματος Ζωγραφικής στην Ακαδημία Τεχνών στα Τίρανα για σχεδόν 26 χρόνια, μέχρι το 2006, δεν τον εμπόδισε να δημιουργήσει. Το 1999 άνοιξε ατομική έκθεση στην Εθνική Πινακοθήκη. Το 2014 επιστρέφει με μια άλλη ατομική έκθεση στα Τίρανα και το 2015 με την έκθεση "Ταυτότητες" στην Πινακοθήκη της Σκόνδρας. Τον Μάρτιο του 2017 είναι η στροφή της τελευταίας ατομικής έκθεσης με τίτλο "Πού ήμουν, όπου θέλω να είμαι". Υπάρχει κάτι που συγκεντρώνουν όλα τα έργα του πριν και μετά τη δεκαετία του '90, τα χρώματα και τους τρόπους που παίζει μαζί τους. Το όλο έργο του Jorgji Gjikopulli αρέσει και εκτιμάται από τους λάτρεις της τέχνης, τους κριτικούς και τους επιμελητές μέσα και έξω από τη χώρα. Πολλά από τα έργα του αποτελούν μέρος ιδιωτικών συλλογών στην Αλβανία, τη Γαλλία, την Ελλάδα, την Αγγλία, τις ΗΠΑ, την Τουρκία και την Αλγερία. Δώδεκα έργα του είναι μέρος της Εθνικής Πινακοθήκης στα Τίρανα της Αλβανίας.
JORGJI GJIKOPULLI (Albanian) Ka lindur në 1939 në Athinë, Greqi dhe është diplomuar në vitin 1964, në Liceun Artistik "Jordan Misja" në Tiranë dhe në vitin 1969 në Akademinë e Arteve të Tiranës. Ai filloi të punonte për një vit si shpjegues në Galerinë Kombëtare të Arteve të Tiranës. Deri në vitin 1982 ishte inspektor në Ministrinë e Kulturës dhe Arsimit. Si profesor dhe shef i Departamentit të Pikturës në Akademinë e Arteve në Tiranë për pothuajse 26 vjet, deri në vitin 2006, Jorgji Gjikopulli megjithatë nuk u shkëput asnjëherë nga krijimtaria artistike. Në vitin 1999 ai hapi një ekspozitë vetjake në Galerinë Kombëtare të Arteve. Në vitin 2014 ai kthehet me një tjetër ekspozitë vetjake në Tiranë dhe në 2015 me ekspozitën "Identitetet" në Galerinë e Qytetit të Shkodrës. Në mars 2017 është radha e ekspozitës së fundit vetjake, të titulluar "Atje ku kam qenë, atje ku dua të jem". Ka diçka që i bashkon të gjitha veprat e tij para dhe pas viteve '90, ngjyrat dhe mënyrat që ai luan me to.E gjithë puna e Jorgji Gjikopullit është shumë e pëlqyer dhe vlerësuar nga dashamirësit e artit, kritikët dhe kuratorët brenda dhe jashtë vendit. Shumë nga veprat e tij janë pjesë e koleksioneve private në Shqipëri, Francë, Greqi, Angli, SHBA, Suedi, Turqi dhe Algjeri. Dymbëdhjetë vepra të tij janë pjesë e fondit të Galerisë Kombëtare të Arteve në Tiranë.
JORGJI GJIKOPULLI (English)
Jorgji Gjikopulli was born in 1939 In Athens, Greece. Graduated in 1964 at the Artistic Lyceum “Jordan Misja” in Tirana and in 1969 at the Arts Academy of Tirana, he started to work for a year as a docent at the National Art Gallery. Until 1982 he was Inspector at the Culture and Education Ministry. Being a Professor and Head of the Painting Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana for almost 26 years, until 2006, didn’t stop him from continuing to create. In 1999 he opened a solo exhibition at the National Art Gallery. In 2014 he returns with another solo exhibition in Tirana and in 2015 with the exhibition “Identities” in Skodra City Hall Gallery. In March 2017 he had his last solo exhibition called “Where I was, where I want to be”. There’s something that brings together all his works, before and after the ’90s, the colors and the ways he plays with them. The entire work of Jorgji Gjikopulli is a very esteemed painter among art lovers, critics and curators inside and outside his country. Many of his works are part of private collections in Albania, France, Greece, England, USA, Sweden, Turkey and Algeria. Twelve of his works are part of the National Art Gallery in Tirana Albania.
