CONCEPT STATEMENT Post secondary education is a tool that people use to their advantage when it comes to working in the real world. The idea is that they are drawn to their program of choice based on individual interests. At the end of PARKING ENTER/ SERVICE ACCESS PARKING EXIT

this process we are pushed back into society, ready to work in field. This creates a double hook, the never ending continuous process. There is a pull that drives us to better ourselves and then there is the push for innovation. The double hook is symbolic of those willing to push themselves and the role of innovation on a social level. Innovation is never ending and therefore requires a constant movement, reiterated in the design. STREET RENDER FROM EAST

17 Randolph St. Savannah, GA 31401 PREMISE: Individually, the objective of this course is to design a horticulture magnet school for grades K-5 in the Savannah Area. This project focuses heavily on site analysis, slope ratio of the site and the zoning of private versus public spaces. Located on the original site of the Trustee’s Garden of Savannah, one of the main goals is to find plants that would flourish in the area while catering to the needs of the school. Through the design process, spaces are integrated with the horticulture necessities to create learning opportunities for the children.
