An intense, three-day charrette where emerging professionals join with students and the community to solve challenges and positively affect communities through design.
For 2012 the focus of the Fellowship is switching to the City of Northville. Currently the Northville Farmers Market is an architecturally underwhelming space. The activity and interactions are palpable but the place could use a boost through possible interventions of…organization, structure, infrastructure, etc. With the Farmers Market located at the southern entry into Northville it positions itself as a threshold or gateway into the city. How this is developed is up to you. Agriculture and support for regional economic activities are very important elements to the success of both our state and our communities and are currently hot topics in the discourse of how to move Michigan forward.
