Doling Out Responsible Citizens Enhances The Social Empowerment National NGO Social empowerment is essential for any society to achieve a quality life and the society to progress. When there are several people who cannot lead quality life then that society cannot progress fast. Social empowerment can be done at four levels- individual, family, community and society. Social empowerment can be achieved by various means and a few of them include socio economic integration and education. There should be social inclusion and to facilitate those different methods, tools and methods are deployed by individuals, families or even social entities. It is here that the shelter homes can play an important role. Many children who are left to fend for themselves are brought under their wing.
National NGO also has taken under their wing many such children. When these destitute are under one roof they are treated as a family. Each inmate is given an individual identity and given an opportunity to grow and develop himself or herself according to his or her capabilities. The National NGO strives hard to contribute to the social empowerment by providing the needed education to the inmates. These inmates may have come from different social strata but when they are under the care of the NGO they are provided equal rights and given due opportunities they are entitled to.
Apart from the regular education they are given moral values so that they become good individuals and also know their social responsibilities when they join the mainstream society. This empowers them to become not only responsible but also respected individuals in the future. If these are not taught all these they may not grow up to be empowered with such values they would be a blot on the society. Such individuals would still be dependent on others for their daily needs. When there are a huge number of such people who do not know their responsibility the social empowerment in such a society cannot take place. This in turn hinders the growth of other people who are empowered. So it is the responsibility of shelter homes like the National NGO to contribute to the social empowerment. On this front this NGO has not faltered and is doing its best to contribute the most so that they dole out responsible citizens from their home.
