NATIONAL NGO-PROJECT INDER National NGO is committed to contributing to and improving the lives of children from all sections of society. We focus on those children who have disabilities or critical diseases so as to provide them with a helping hand and a shelter along with the funds to re-enter normal life. Being National NGO’s largest project, project INDER encompasses a large range of activities. It was the dream child of Founder, Mr. Amandeep Singh who wanted to work for children with special needs and disabilities, he did this to commemorate the life of his late brother Inderjeet Singh who suffered from Congenital Cerebral Palsy The project focuses on overall and holistic development of children with special needs and of limited means.
Being an Emphatic organization, project ‘Inder’ takes total and full responsibility for all children who are inducted under this banner. Shelter is provided to these less fortunate children and if required, treatment is also dispensed at the Rehabilitation Center in Tughlakabad Also a special School is being run on the premises for children of the center. Free services are provided to over 69 underprivileged and differently abled children from the neighboring areas at the Rehabilitation Center in Tughlakabad The center provides an advanced therapeutic approach practiced by experienced Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists known as the NDT or Neuro Developmental Treatment. For students who have central nervous system insults, which in turn create challenges in controlling synchronized movements, this approach is very helpful and effective. Children with motor disorders like Cerebral Palsy, head injury, Down’s Syndrome, Rett’s syndrome etc., are treated by the therapists employed at the National Rehab Centre, so that the children can become independent and self-reliant and are able to survive without any external assistance.
