The National NGO Understands The Responsibility Of Providing Social Skills To Members When a man is convicted for any crime and is jailed the children suffer the most. In some cases his wife would abandon the children as she may not have any means of looking after them. These children may end up being sheltered in some orphanage or some home managed by an NGO. Giving shelter and looking after such children is always rife with difficulties. They have borne the brunt of the society and suffered abuse. This trauma affects them mentally and they need some special care and counseling. At National NGO the volunteers are aware of such issues and handle such children who are traumatized due to losing their parents to crime or any other reason like physical, mental or sexual abuse.
Their need is not only food shelter and clothing but also healthcare both physical and mental and also proper guidance and care via value education. Providing just the basic needs seems so easy in front of all these needs.
The purpose of providing such needs is to make each of them a responsible and good person. Eventually when they grow up they have to leave the shelter of National NGO which they had made their home. These children on growing up need to join the mainstream society and make a life of their own and live like normal citizens and become a part of the society. To become normal they need to know the social skills and how to live in a society and how to mingle with different kinds of people. These children need to look after themselves and make a family by finding a rightful partner too. They need to know how to live in a family. All this needs to be taught to such children who have no idea what a normal family is as they have spent most of their childhood and teenage in a shelter home. It is upon the managers and other volunteers at an NGO to provide such knowhow and make them society ready. Yes, they have taken up this responsibility pretty well and are striving their best to give the best ever to the members at the shelter home.
