Explore the archipelago, which boasts the largest albatross colony in the world; thousands of gentoo, rockhopper, and Magellanic penguins; and fur and elephant seals. Later, enjoy the ship’s amenities during two days at sea. Meals: 4B, 4L, 4D
DAYS 1–4 I U.S./BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA OR SANTIAGO, CHILE/USHUAIA/AT SEA After an overnight flight, enjoy a guided tour of Buenos Aires (National Geographic Explorer and National Geographic Endurance) or Santiago (National Geographic Resolution). Fly to Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city. Cruise the Beagle Channel on a catamaran, then embark the ship and journey across the South Atlantic. DAYS 9–15 I SOUTH GEORGIA Arrive in South Georgia—where we anticipate daily opportunities to walk, hike, kayak, or explore by Zodiac. Observe the antics of huge elephant seals and encounter a vast colony of king penguins. Meals: 7B, 7L, 7D DAYS 16–19 I USHUAIA, ARGENTINA/ BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA OR SANTIAGO, CHILE/U.S. After time at sea, we return to the Falklands. Visit the interior of East Falkland and stroll through the colonial town of Stanley. Later, board our chartered flight to Ushuaia, followed by an overnight flight home. Meals: 3B, 3L, 2D
