DAYS 4–9 I SVALBARD A high Arctic archipelago situated between Norway and the North Pole, Svalbard is a place of deep fjords, snowcapped mountains, and massive sheets of ice. Our travel here is exploratory by design; we make the most of our days, keeping a flexible schedule to take advantage of the opportunities that arise. Set out from the ship in search of Svalbard’s incredible wildlife, including walruses, bearded and ringed seals, and the majestic polar bear. Explore serene fjords in Zodiacs, kayak among sparkling icebergs, hike through the blooming tundra, and much more.
