DAY 1 | CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

DAYS 2–3 | CAPE TOWN
Visit the stunning Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on an exclusive tour, and explore vibrant Cape Town and Cape Point, with a stop to see the penguins at Boulders Beach. Enjoy a day of leisure in this beautiful city.
DAYS 4–5 | JOHANNESBURG/GREATER KRUGER AREA
Fly to Johannesburg; then visit Soweto township, where Nelson Mandela once lived. Enjoy a traditional South African braai (barbecue) for dinner in the evening. The next day, drive along the spectacular Panorama Route, pausing at Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and God’s Window. Continue to our lodge near Kruger National Park, and have dinner in a boma.
DAYS 6–7 | KRUGER NATIONAL PARK/ KARONGWE PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Enjoy a full-day safari through Kruger National Park. Spot an abundance of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and giraffes. Continue to a private nature reserve the next day. Meet with a researcher from the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s Cheetah Metapopulation Project, and learn about their efforts to protect the region’s carnivores. The researcher then joins us on our evening wildlife drive.
DAYS 8–9 | KARONGWE PRIVATE GAME RESERVE/JOHANNESBURG
Enjoy morning and afternoon safaris in the reserve with our guides, searching for buffalo, elephants, leopards, lions, and rhinos. During down time, take a walk around our campgrounds, or enjoy a cool drink on the deck. The next day, embark on one last wildlife drive before heading back to the city.
DAYS 10–11 | VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE
Fly to the town of Victoria Falls. Gain insight into local life on a walk through a market, and enjoy dinner at a family homestead. Meet our hosts, learn their history, and share stories as you enjoy a traditional Zimbabwean meal. The following morning, set out on a tour of magnificent Victoria Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The rest of the day is yours to explore: embark on a river safari, go white-water rafting or canoeing, enjoy a helicopter ride over the falls, and more.
