The National LGBTQ Task Force’s Winter Party Festival is the most diverse LGBTQ festival on earth , attracting an estimated 10,000 visitors to Miami Beach every March from across the US and more than 35 other countries . This iconic fundraiser started as a single event more than 30 years ago: a dance party on the beach to mobilize the community and raise money to fight an anti-gay referendum. In the years since, Winter Party has grown into a weeklong celebration of music, dance, and community. With more than a dozen world-class events , Winter Party has something for everyone.

Winter Party Festival is an important fundraiser produced to support the mission and work of the National LGBTQ Task Force, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The National LGBTQ Task Force is the nation’s oldest LGBTQ organization focused on civil rights and social justice. The Task Force mobilizes people and money to build power, take action, and create change to advance full freedom, equality, and justice for all. A significant portion of the funds raised at Winter Party Festival will also be donated to the LGBTQ Equity Fund, a partnership between The Miami Foundation, Our Fund Foundation, and The National LGBTQ Task Force to provide grants to local organizations serving South Florida’s LGBTQ+ community. To date, Winter Party Festival and its sister event, The Task Force Gala, have given back more than $3.3 Million to South Florida’s LGBTQ community.
