Is 28 years old and she lives in Bondi Beach, Australia. She grew up on a farm in a small country town in Victoria and she is the youngest of three girls. She moved to Melbourne when she was 18 to go to University. When she was 22 Fiona was a contestant on the Biggest Loser and then Australian Dancing with the Stars. She now works full time as a plus model with Bella Models and she is also studying a makeup artist course.
Why do you believe in Healthy is the New Skinny?
There are so many different body types out there. Short, tall, skinny, curvy and each is beautiful in its own way. Society has been conditioned to believe that being skinny is the ultimate form of beauty. For many women out there trying to fit in to this stereotype is very difficult and can lead to low self esteem and making unhealthy lifestyle choices. I know from my own weight loss experience (going from a size 20 to a size 12) that although I may have looked skinny on the outside I was not healthy or happy. I am now a healthy size 14/16 and work as a plus model and have never been happier or healthier in my life. Beauty should never be measured by a number on a scale. “Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and I truly believe that healthy will one day become the new skinny.”
Do you think change is possible? Yes! I think I am a walking advert that change is possible! Over the past five years I have changed every aspect about my life. The biggest change for me would be on my outlook on life. I used to have such a negative body image I used to use the words "I can't" a lot in life but now I will try anything and give it 100% even if I am not successful every time, I can walk away proud of the fact that I tried. Another big change is my career, I never dreamed that I would ever work as a model...my childhood dream was to become a makeup artist (I recently started a course to pursue this) but modeling was never something I thought I could do, but with the amazing support and persistence of my agent, Chelsea from Bella Model Management, I have been quite successful in this adventure.
If you could go back in time to bring a message to your younger self.... what would you tell her and why?# # * Make the most of this time as it will be gone in the blink of an eye.# *If you try you hardest and put your mind to it anything is possible.# *Don’t be so hard on yourself, just enjoy being young and don’t worry so much what others think!#

What do you find to be the funniest thing about the modeling industry? It amazes me the amount of time and effort that can go in to one shot. For example, I have been flown to a location and been in hair and makeup for two and a half hours then shot for two hours then flown home…all for one image. I look at some of my shots and its not really the way I look and I think people forget about all that goes on behind every image that is used in the media.
What is the funniest, most awkward, or embarrassing thing that has happened to you working as a model? The most awkward thing for me about modeling is when I am asked to look seductive. I can usually attempt for about a minute before cracking up and laughing, it just does not come naturally to me! #
What knowledge have you gained from your experience in the industry that has helped you realize what is important in your life? This industry can be a hard one and you need to be pretty thick skinned. It took a long time but my priorities now are about being happy and healthy and spending as much time as I can with the people I love!
When you think about the word "happiness" what does it look like? When I think of the word "happiness" I instantly think of my nieces and nephews, they are my joy! What changes would you like to see for your generation of women and the next generations to come? I would like to see an increase in the amount of healthy body types in the media.
FUN FACTS ABOUT FIONA-
-I would have to be one of the clumsiest people I know…On every shoot I lose my balance and usually have at least one fall! -I cant wait to have a family! I would love three children…not yet but maybe in a few years! # -“Walk on the Wild Side” makes me laugh so hard I cry. You have to watch it, it is so funny! -I am a girly girl and I love EVERYTHING fashion and beauty.
If your inner beauty sparkled, what color would it be and why? It would be because I have a bubby personality and I am at my best mentally and physically when I am around the ocean.
