Aided and unaided Viewing
of differently-Colored lights NVGS (SUCH AS PVS14S AND SIMILAR TYPES OF NVGS) CANNOT DISTINGUISH BETWEEN DIFFERENT COLORS DUE TO THE MONOCHROMATIC NATURE OF THE NVG IMAGE.
IT IS FOR THIS REASON THAT TRYING TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN OBSERVERS AND TARGETS DURING LIVE-FIRE OPS USING DIFFERENTLY COLORED LIGHTS IS HAZARDOUS.
