INTRODUCTION

The following collection of works being presented here has been influenced by many own experience from the projects done during my professional practice in BNA. Thank you in advance for taking time to go through it.

The experience has offered me a coherent approach to many design challenges and a clearer understanding of the tools and theories used in the process. Each project is approached by mediating between advanced digital mediums and physical craft to the arrive at an immaginative outcome regarding the economies and site context.

My goal is to continue to pursue these new ideas and possibilities through involvement in the real world experiences. To utilize an open mind is crucial as exposure to trends and issues in design are persistently influencing my perception of architecture. Continuing my real world experience is necessary to prepare me to take leadership role in shaping the built environment, promoting practical experience and improve the living conditions of the community around the world.

The architecture presented is a projection of ideas existing within the mind. It exemplifies my understanding of architecture, revealing how I have overcome the interplay between thinking and making an interwined entity.

Located off ORR near the Sarjapur Junction, Vaishnavi Sovereign is designed for IGBC LEED Platinum certification. This is indeed the perfect commercial space for environmentally conscious businesses of the 21st century.

The G+3 structure will span an area of 500,000 sq. ft. and will be equipped with cutting edge energy-saving features among other amenities.

The added advantage is the location, with several technology & commercial establishments in its vicinity.

Offers excellent access to the IT Corridor of Bengaluru. Located very close to the Sarjapur Junction

This Gold rated Green building has been designed such that it can be easily adapted to provide a variety of work place functions along with future proof expansion.

In order to get natural glare free light, the building has been set in on the North and East facades.

The highlight of the building is the juxtaposition of the industrial metal framework with corten steel, perforated mesh panels and wood fins, with the simple rhythmic glass facade on the lower two floors.

REDESIGN OF 100 FT ROAD, INDIRANAGAR

The busy 100ft road of Indiranagar was redesigned considering the hassle and traffic of the uncontrolled usage of the roads and streets which was creating a congestion.

The design focuses on the Masterplan and streetscaping of the entire stretch starting from OMR Old Madras Road to the KFC (Metro junction) as the first phase. The old infrastructure were removed and the new design was implemented for the ease of public usage.

The redesign has features with a lot of parking lots, pedestrian pathway, seating shaded areas and the bicycle track with the green landscape pockets in between demarcating the carriage way and the pedestrian friendly sidewalk.

Involving with public and understanding their requirements and with the help of BBMP have brought a signicance change in the entire 100ft road of Indiranagar which is more unique in its way.

Vaishnavi Life is a 45 Acre plotted development venture in placid neighbourhoods of Devanahalli, close to Kempegowda International Airport. The premise features plots of various dimensions ranging in size between 1200 Sq Feet and 4000 Sq Feet. The plots are offered in standard sizes of 30 X 40 (1200 Sq Feet), 30 X 50 (1500 Sq Feet), 40 X 60 (2400 Sq Feet) and 50 X 80 (4000 Sq Feet).

The premise engineers limited number of plots boundaried at appropriate adjacencies to bring-in the aloofness and privacy between abodes when constructed. Vaishnavi Life is located in plush surrounds of Devanahalli of North Bangalore. The premise lies in close proximity to KIAL and its associated 4000 plus acres commercial & retail facilities.

The neighbourhood is surrounded by well framed civic amenities to include top rated schools and hospitals.

The security of the entire community is managed professionally using robust security surveillance methodologies. CCTVs will be fitted at all essential points as per the design to facilitate round-the-clock coverage and monitoring.

The Entry and Exit points are guarded by security personnel to ensure utmost safety to the residents.

LIFE - EXPERIENCE CENTRE

The premise will include organic waste converters, in-house waste segregation units, rain water harvesting pits, well planned visitor parking pavilions and water treatment facilities. The fresh water and treated water storage is done using underground sump tanks. Underground water supply line is provided from the entrance to the UG sump.

The water supply pipe network is rigged with separate lines for individual plots connecting each plot line to the overhead tanks for supplying water. The premise will include Sewage treatment plant and Underground drainage system. The entire layout will be equipped with Bore well facilities as an alternate source of water supply. Solar powered street light facilities will be made available throughout the campus at appropriate distances. Double-wall corrugated pipe network will be provided along the road to drain off the storm water.

Hence, an experience centre is established at the beginning of the project for the purpose of marketing the entire 45Acre plotted development. This consists of the office spaces, conference rooms, Model display area, viewing decks, play area and the amenities for the same with dedicated parking.

ALEMBIC WATERFRONT, F&B 08

The Alembic waterfront F&B blocks are designed inside the Alembic city, Hopefarm junction of Whitefield. The site contexts the urban forest with a lot of trees including various species like coconut tree, cedar tree, chiku tree, Litchi and mango tree. The F&B are planned to accomodate in three blocks alongside a scenic waterbody.

The chiku court is surrounded by these three blocks and few waterbodies are planned in between these three blocks for a beautiful site dining experience for the outdoor spaces. The landscape is treated with amphitheatre and an event space in the chiku court garden and few decks for private corporate events.

A blend with these natural ambience brings a very tropical sense of experience in the busy urban area. The overall design of these blocks consists of 1.2L sq,ft in BUA, with many outer dining decks of double height spaces and the trees are allowed to grow inside the building bringing a very natural experience. The steel and aluminium fins are the skins for the entire facade along with the green lush covering them.
