my first model out of newspaper in the age of 5
I was born in Iran, 1991. As a child, I was always fond of making something new out of materials I had around. This was the only way to represent whatever passed through my mind. I loved to make objects that never existed before. I didn’t know I’m starting exiting path of design. This made me pursue my passion of design in university, competitions and projects I was involved in.

Aras is a commercial project situated in a 2009 sq. land with 19712 sq. built area placed in a poor context in Iran. Considering the fact that this part of the city contains the compact industrial texture, Aras is going to affect its context by an especial design. The goal is not only the attraction in its region scale but also affecting the people inside the city border.

Urban Furniture Design, 2017 design, presentation, model & prototype construction First place in the 3rd Iranian symposium of creative urban furniture design
This project was considered in a child friendly city, won the municipality competition and is in the mass production process. In terms of design process, since children’s opinion and participation mattered, we focused on co-designing with children to design a set of child friendly street furniture.
Co-operative design (Co-design) is a great approach to design attempting to involve all stakeholders, especially users, in the design process to ensure that the results meet their needs and values. In a child friendly city, children’s opinion and participation matter and for this reason we focused on co-designing with children to design a set of child friendly street furniture. We worked with school children aged 5 to 12 and asked them “if you were the mayor of children’s city, how would it looked like? And how would the street seats looked like?” They came up with great ideas in which the design team extracted the design factors, then combined the most unique ideas together and created a number of new ideas.
In this phase the feasibilities of ideas were discussed with educators and technicians. The presented idea passed through different process of refining and got selected by children.
