Freelance Interior Designer

my first model out of newspaper in the age of 5

I was born in Iran, 1991. As a child, I was always fond of making something new out of materials I had around. This was the only way to represent whatever passed through my mind. I loved to make objects that never existed before. I didn’t know I’m starting exiting path of design. This made me pursue my passion of design in university, competitions and projects I was involved in.

About Me

Valentino Store Interior Design, 2011 Design, Detail Location: Tehran, Iran Status: Student Project

proposed color pallet based on precedent studies

This design presents my university project during 3rd semester in interior design II course and can be considered as adaptive re-use based on brand identity. The main idea was translating brand values and DNA into an architectural language.

“

The relationship between the changing fashion & the room within which you look at the fashion, is an interesting discussion, and my feeling is the room should be quite different in its time than the fashion. The cloths are changing every season, the architecture should feel a little bit timeless

“

In order to create a timeless interior space, customers were considered as live models inside the store. Each pendant operates amazing shadow & light game on costumers with Valentino popular pattern.

Jewelry Store Retail Design, 2016 Design, Detail Location: Tehran, Iran Status: interior design program thesis

main floor plan

As an interior designer my main idea in this project was to create an interior space which is precious enough to showcase Iranian jewelry as priceless art. This store can be classified in retail category as well as gallery.

The first impression of interior space is 4-way access cube showcasing an installation art with the idea of cypress tree featured in wire.

Located in Baq Ferdows in Iran which is a heritage palace-garden, the exterior features of the proposed design shouldn’t affect the value of historical context Interior unless it addsDesign, more value2011 to it.

Valentino Store

Design, Detail As a result I tried to minimize the exterior ornaments. The only sign Location: Tehran, Iran which creates bond between Status: Studentthe Project the art pieces and interior design is the cypress tree which is a sacred symbol in showcased jewelry as well as architecture.

Cabana Burger Restaurant Design, 2012 Design & Detail Location: Mazandaran, Iran Status: Schematic Design

Cabana Burger was a fast food restaurant. In this project the brand’s necessity was to create a cozy atmosphere for users and to respect the characteristics of the other branches of Cabana Burger.

Also using both fixture and mobile furniture in the concept of this project was a solution to create a flexible space that responds all the user and client’s needs.

Hario Bar Object Design, 2012 Design, Detail Location: Raees Coffee, Iran Status: Mass Production

Raees Coffee necessities The hario industrial design project ordered by the Raees Coffee in order to use in the cafeteria branches furthermore to sell as a Raees Coffee brand-new product. So creativity played an important role in this design. The brand manager needed two kinds of harios: one-cup hario and multi-cup hario.

Design process The solution was to create a mixture of one-cup and multi-cup hario by designing a modular, puzzle-like unit. Many sketches created and eventually the modular, puzzle like hario accepted by Raees coffee author. The concept was produced with wood material by Kourosh Shojaei wood industry workshop.

Fun-Down *competition

Urban Furniture Design, 2017 design, presentation, model & prototype construction First place in the 3rd Iranian symposium of creative urban furniture design

This project was considered in a child friendly city, won the municipality competition and is in the mass production process. In terms of design process, since children’s opinion and participation mattered, we focused on co-designing with children to design a set of child friendly street furniture.

Co-operative design (Co-design) is a great approach to design attempting to involve all stakeholders, especially users, in the design process to ensure that the results meet their needs and values. In a child friendly city, children’s opinion and participation matter and for this reason we focused on co-designing with children to design a set of child friendly street furniture. We worked with school children aged 5 to 12 and asked them “if you were the mayor of children’s city, how would it looked like? And how would the street seats looked like?” They came up with great ideas in which the design team extracted the design factors, then combined the most unique ideas together and created a number of new ideas.

In this phase the feasibilities of ideas were discussed with educators and technicians. The presented idea passed through different process of refining and got selected by children.
