Spanish film club - for all students (as films have English subtitles). Great for students interested in world cinema.
This enrichment will help students gain an appreciation of other cultures and languages through film and will prove essential for any undergraduate degree course involving languages. It is of course, very valuable for students interested in film studies as well as many other arts disciplines to show a greater awareness of films other than the typical Hollywood production.

Research Skills and Foundation for EPQ
This enrichment aims to help you to develop vital research skills that will support your future studies both within College and at University. You will learn about how to effectively manage projects that are larger than a typical college assignment, and gain an insight into more independent research methods. This will include
• how to find and evaluate appropriate sources and to reference them correctly
• reading and note-taking strategies
• interpreting data and analysing evidence. Whilst completing this enrichment is a requirement for enrolment onto the AQA Level 3 Extended Project Qualification you are not committed to doing this and the skills developed are of value to everyone. The final optional sessions will deliver more specific guidance about EPQ and give you an opportunity to consider initial ideas for your research with individual support.
The sessions are likely to be delivered with 6 consecutive sessions forming the core and a further 3 sessions for those wishing to explore the possibility of completing an Extended Project in year 13.
