FOOD RELIEF ASSISTANCE

“This economic crisis is spiraling into a humanitarian emergency as thousands of people face acute shortages of food, fuel, cooking gas, medicines, etc. All basic essential food items like rice, dhal, sugar, tea, milk powder, etc. are in short supply, and if they are available are at a very high cost that people cannot afford. We have carried out regular relief programs recently and are planning to provide more food relief in the coming days and whatever support we receive to aid us in this effort will be a great help and blessing.”

MEDICAL

We received a request from one of our partners in Haiti. His three-year-old daughter has trouble with her legs and is unable to walk. She was taken to a doctor who helped her with therapy and recommended walking boots for her legs and feet. Your donations helped our partner purchase the boots his daughter needed. She now receives weekly therapy where she practices walking in her new boots. After she adjusts to these boots, the doctor recommends another boot to help with her legs and knees. “Thank you so much for your great help for my daughter.”

FLOODING

You’ve probably seen the tremendous damage caused by flooding in eastern Kentucky. Feed the Hunger has worked in that region for more than a decade, and it is heartbreaking to see our ministry partners and friends face such a challenge. But they don’t have to face it alone. We’re already planning how to best meet needs through our partners on the ground there. We invite you to join us and pray for the flood victims in Kentucky. Pray that they can begin to rebuild their lives, knowing that others care about them and want to help.
