FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY Ministry 85.8% Admin 7.6% Fundraising 6.6%
Under ongoing oversight by a dedicated Board of Directors, Feed the Hunger (FtH) strives for financial excellence in our stewardship of the resources God entrusts to us through your gracious giving. Each and every year, our finances are reviewed by a third party independent public auditing firm. FtH has also been a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability since 1985. Demonstrating the positive financial commitment of this ministry, our expenses have consistently maintained the averages shown for the last five years. Our Financial Statements are available online at feedthehunger.org/about-us/financial-summary
A WORD FROM THE CEO Dear Friends and Partners of FtH, Well, it’s no secret that the highlight of 2018 was reaching the milestone of 50 years as a ministry. This is proof solely of God’s faithfulness and our pledge to merely go and do as He leads—and with you serving right beside us. The celebration in August was a blessed time to gather with longtime friends and supporters. We reminisced over lunch with the New Directions alumni, took a trip through the past in the newly created Legacy Room, remembered my parents’ legacy, and also packed 450,000 meals at a special anniversary Packathon. Just as in 2017, the Lord continued to give us favor in our efforts to help in the midst of the massive Rohingya refugee crisis in Bangladesh, as well as after destructive hurricanes here in the US. As we go forward into this new year, there are clear indications that God has more planned for us to do together than ever before. This means historic numbers of Bibles and meals being distributed. I hope you are as ready as I am! Serving with you, Joseph Williams, CEO

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING Children’s Feeding Program in Sri Lanka We thank God for His provision of this food to us, which is a blessing to many thousands of children in need in our country, and are very grateful to FtH. We have noted the growth of these children, and the parents appreciate very much this food that we are providing for them regularly. Rev. Ranjan Fernando, Sri Lanka Food Opens Doors for the Gospel I know you keep praying for us. God is really at work in Haiti through Valley of Hope, which partners with Feed the Hunger. We keep receiving food and everything is going well. We count on your prayers to keep opening doors for us. May God bless you. Pastor Maxeau Antoine, Haiti Sharing the Gospel around the World On behalf of Himalayan Bible Study Academy, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for the unprecedented partnership with us in training, equipping, and empowering the grassroots leaders and church planters in Nepal and the Buddhist-dominated countries to lead, feed, and protect their respective flocks and to plant new churches. May the Lord continue to use us jointly in this endeavor. Rev. Dil Tamang, Nepal

Serving God through the Packathon Everyone had a great time Saturday. It was like going to God’s party!!! We are honored to be able to partner with Feed the Hunger and answer God’s call to “feed my sheep.” Sarah, Charlotte, NC
A Business Perspective on the Packathon I have been in manufacturing for 20 years and what you guys have set up here blows away even some of the multi-million dollar companies in terms of organization and function. John, Hurricane Relief Packathon Hurricane Michael Relief We just want to give a special thanks to Feed the Hunger for the blessing they’ve been over the last couple of days. We’ve been able to do individual meals here, and we’ve also been able to deploy with strike teams going to a local shelter and another strike team that’s going down to the beach. Our model and our understanding is we don’t care who gets the credit, as long as God gets the glory! Rev. Gilbert Abrueo, Citra, FL—Night Runners Mobile Crisis Services Nairobi Language Institute in Kenya Not only were the kids amazing, but the teachers were inspiring. They make sacrifices to work at the school, and they truly care about the students and their education. And the students are equally as passionate about learning, which you don’t always see in the United States. Leaving the school on the last day was truly one of the most heart-wrenching experiences I’ve ever had. Maggie, Ole Miss Student

50th Anniversa
Our ministry celebrated 50 years of outreach over a festive four days in August. This included a 450,000meal Packathon that culminated in an Open House at our headquarters and the debut of the Legacy Room, which chronicles the five-decade journey of New Directions and Feed the Hunger. There was also a special luncheon for members of the ND singing group, which was a vital arm of the ministry over the first 20 years. We praise God for what He has allowed us to be a part of for His glory, both here and around the world.

feedthehunger.org/2018videos How often do you think about heaven? For many of us, heaven barely registers amid our daily routines, obligations, and struggles. Yet, if eternity awaits all of us, doesn’t heaven deserve more attention? But what should we take as fact, and what should be considered fiction? Are You Right about Heaven? is a 30-day study examining this wonderful place, guided by the best resource we have on the subject—the Bible.
